If you've created a story and want to edit the generated title, you can easily do so in two ways:

Quick Title Change

1️⃣ Go to Reading Nook and find your story.
2️⃣ Click on the pencil icon in the top right corner of the story card.
3️⃣ Enter your new title in the text box.
4️⃣ Click the checkmark to save your changes.

Screenshot of Nookly’s content library showing how to rename a social story: the first card displays a smiling animated child with a rounded overlay reading “Teaching Cristina Taking Turns,” the second frame hides the overlay to reveal the full illustration, the third frame shows the card selected with a checkmark icon, and the final frame brings back the overlay updated to “Taking Turns.” Below the cards, the Nookly title editor is shown with the original title in an input field, then the field updated to “Taking Turns,” illustrating the straightforward in-app workflow for editing content titles.

Editing Your Title & Story

If you’d like to update the title and make additional edits:

1️⃣ Click on the story card to open it.
2️⃣ Toggle on Edit Mode to:

  • Change the title.

  • Edit story captions.

  • Regenerate images (up to 20 regenerations).

The Nookly Edit mode interface for a social story titled “Taking Turns” displays a rounded text field at the top pre-filled with “Taking Turns,” alongside a heart icon reading “0/20 Regenerations” and an orange “editing on” toggle. Beneath this header, three story frame cards each show an animated character scene with a trash icon in the top-left corner and a “Regenerate” button overlay. Directly below each image, Nookly presents the accompanying story text in colored bubbles: the first reads “It was a bright morning in Cristina’s town, with chirping birds, rustling leaves, and a gentle breeze tickling her nose,” the second reads “Cristina was excited to play with her favorite toy blocks, imagining castles and towers reaching up to the ceiling,” and the third reads “Mommy and Daddy joined her, tapping with their fingers on the floor like little builders ready for action,” demonstrating how users can edit text and regenerate images within Nookly’s editing workflow.
