Sometimes the first image doesn’t quite hit the mark, and that’s totally okay! Whether you want to explore different looks or tweak specific details to better fit your story, the Edit Image feature gives you the flexibility to do just that. 🛠️

Here’s what you can do with "Edit Image":

  • Zoom In or Out to frame your character exactly how you want. 🔍

  • Control Expressiveness to make your character more subtle or more animated with a simple slider. 🎭

  • Change the Scene by typing what you’d like to adjust (e.g. pose, background, outfit, or even removing an element). 🎨

The Nookly Edit Image panel lets you zoom in or out to perfectly frame your character, adjust expressiveness with a simple slider to make them more subtle or animated, and use the “Customize This Scene” text box to describe any changes you’d like—whether it’s tweaking the pose, swapping out the background, changing the outfit, or removing an element—before regenerating your updated visual.

How It Works:

Once you update your settings and hit Regenerate, you’ll get four new image options to choose from.

The Nookly “Edit Image” panel displays your selected scene on the left and a set of controls on the right: a “Zoom Out” slider to adjust framing, “Decrease” and “Increase” buttons under “Expressiveness” to fine-tune the character’s emotion, and a “Customize This Scene” text box where you can type instructions (e.g., “Make her more excited” or “Change the setting to a living room”). At the bottom, an orange “Regenerate” button lets you apply your changes and preview new versions. After you hit “Regenerate,” Nookly presents four refreshed image options in a grid—each reflecting your updated zoom, expressiveness, and custom scene tweaks—so you can quickly pick the version that best fits your story or learning activity.

Once you have your new image options, you can:

  • Pick your favorite 💫

  • Try again with different settings 🔁

  • Select one of the new images and refine it further 🎯

Visual examples of the regeneted images for you to choose the one that is a best fit for the visual supports you're creating.

You can repeat this process for any image you create, with up to 20 total regenerations — so feel free to explore and perfect your visuals!
