Goals and on-demand creations: Imagineer vs. Nookly tools

Choose a Goal for an ongoing outcome, the Imagineer for one auto-planned experience, or a Nookly tool for detailed format control.

Written by Radwa Hamed

Nookly gives you three ways to begin. The right choice depends on the timeline and how much control you want over the format.

Start with the timeline

  • Ongoing outcome: create a Goal and review the connected Blueprint; for example: your kid is progressing through their developmental milestones and you want to help support them through academic goals they are learning at school. life skills or behavioral growth

  • One immediate experience: create on demand with the Imagineer or an existing tool. If you are child is refusing to go to practice or you want to prep them to going to school tomorrow, start here.

Step 1: Choose a Goal for an ongoing outcome

A Goal is something the child is working toward over time, such as building reading confidence, learning about the solar system, becoming more independent with a routine, or practicing ways to handle frustration.

Nookly creates a finite personalized learning plan, called a Blueprint, with connected experiences in a purposeful sequence.

Step 2: Choose the Imagineer when you have a need or idea

Use Nookly’s AI planning and creation engine when you know what the child should learn, understand, practice, or experience but do not want to decide the content structure.

Start with one sentence. The Imagineer can plan a story, podcast, video, game, activity, printable, visual resource, or another supported format suited to the request.

Step 3: Choose an existing Nookly tool for detailed control

Use a structured tool when you already know the format and want more control over how it is built. Current examples include Animated Songs, Creative Stories, Emotion Cards, Picture Cards, Social Stories, and Visual Schedules.

Depending on the tool, you can set details such as reading level, number of cards or steps, style, familiar people, interests, and extra context.

Step 4: Review before continuing

Check the Blueprint, Imagineer brief, or structured settings before building. You can begin without logging in; Nookly asks for account details when needed to save, purchase, or continue.

Quick guide

  • Choose a Goal when the outcome develops over time.

  • Choose the Imagineer when you want one experience and want Nookly to choose and plan the format.

  • Choose a Nookly tool when you know the format and want detailed controls.
