Use the Goal Tracker: progress, skills, and the learning approach

Understand Goal progress, the child’s learning areas, journey statuses, and why each experience appears in the plan.

Written by Radwa Hamed

The Goal Tracker explains how the experiences in a Blueprint build across a finite journey. It shows progress, the next available piece, and the learning areas each experience is designed to support.

What the tracker shows

Use the tracker as an orientation tool, not as an assessment. The learning areas describe the intent of the plan and do not guarantee an outcome.

Step 1: Open the Goal Tracker

From the child’s Nook, select the Goal card and choose Continue the journey.

Step 2: Read the progress banner

Review the Goal title, current point in the journey, and the next action shown near the top of the page.

Step 3: Review what the child is learning

Use the learning-area strip to see which skills or areas the Blueprint is designed to support. Copy the exact labels from the live page when discussing them with the child.

Step 4: Follow the journey statuses

Done identifies completed pieces, Up next identifies the next available experience, and Locked keeps later pieces in sequence until they become available.

Step 5: Revisit or continue

Open a completed piece to revisit it, or choose the item marked up next to continue the journey.

Step 6: Read the learning approach

Scroll to the lower part of the tracker for the explanation of why the formats and sequence were chosen and where each learning area is supported.

Good to know

  • The tracker connects learning areas to specific stories, cards, activities, and other experiences.

  • It is not a clinical, diagnostic, or mastery assessment.

  • Stay nearby and connect the experience to conversation or real-life practice when helpful.
