Request a change to an Imagineer plan

Revise the Imagineer brief before building by giving one clear instruction and reviewing the refreshed plan.

Written by Radwa Hamed

Use Request a change when the Imagineer’s plan does not match the intended focus, format, tone, audience, or length. This control revises the brief before building; format-specific editing and regeneration after creation can vary.

Step 1: Review the current brief

Read the planned format, purpose, audience, tone, and other details. Identify the smallest change that would bring the plan back to the original intent.

Step 2: Open Request a change

Select Request a change on the brief.

Step 3: Write one precise instruction

Describe the change, not the entire request again. Examples: “Make the tone calmer,” “focus on meeting the teacher,” or “turn this into a printable game deck.”

Step 4: Apply the change

Select the live apply or update control. Do not hard-code a visible changes-left count because it can vary.

Step 5: Compare the refreshed brief

Confirm that the requested detail changed and that the rest of the plan still matches the child and learning purpose.

Step 6: Start building

Select Start building when the plan is ready. Review the finished experience before sharing it with a child.

When to use another guide

After creation, use the editing, fresh-version, or format-specific controls that are actually shown for that experience. Their availability can vary by format.
