Help your child navigate their Nook

Help a child move between their Goal journey and individual on-demand creations without mixing the two paths.

Written by Radwa Hamed

Each child’s Nook gives them a contained place to find experiences prepared by an adult. It works like a personalized playlist, but the live sections keep Goal journeys and individual on-demand creations distinct.

Two paths in the Nook

  • Goals: connected experiences arranged in a finite Blueprint and followed through the Goal Tracker.

  • Explore all your creations: individual on-demand stories, songs, games, activities, and other experiences.

Step 1: Sign in and select the child

Open Nook and choose the child. Confirm the correct profile before handing over the screen.

Step 2: Choose the Goal path

For an ongoing outcome, open the Goal card and choose the next available item in the tracker.

Step 3: Choose the on-demand path

For one stand-alone experience, open Explore all your creations and select the item prepared for the child.

Step 4: Open the experience

Select Play, Open, or the current card action shown for that format.

Step 5: Stay nearby as needed

Help with reading, controls, questions, or connections to real life. Nookly experiences are adult-directed; do not treat the Nook as unattended childcare.

Step 6: Return to the Nook

Use the available back or completion control to return. Confirm progress when using a Goal experience; on-demand creations do not become part of a Goal automatically.

Good to know

  • Use “personalized playlist” descriptively, not as a live navigation label unless it appears on screen.

  • Goal and on-demand paths can support the same child while remaining separate.

  • There is no endless autoplay feed.
